Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Proctor Silex 59735 Immersion Hand Blender, WhiteCustomer Review: Simple and Effictive blender Summary: 3 StarsThis unit works well and at its bargain price its even better!
Customer Review: Quiet and powerful Summary: 4 StarsIt's a rather nice device. It fits in the hand well, doesn't make too much noise, and is easy to clean. My only complaint is that I bought it to use in preparing frozen concentrated juices, and the guard makes it fairly useless in that role.
Customer Review: Broke after second use. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Summary: 1 StarsMy first use of this product I was impressed. The second was a different story. It short circuited and tripped the breaker to the kitchen. A second attempt caused the same results instantly. It wasn't even in use at the time but still caused the breaker to flip and the device to become extremely hot. Faulty manufactoring and a product so sub-par that not only does it not work, it's most likely and electrical and safety hazard. Review: not only is it useless, it's basically dangerous.
Customer Review: hurts your finger while you push the button Summary: 1 StarsI do not know what those guys were thinking, but did you notice a bump right in the meedle of the push button? Yes, there is a bump, and it is quite pointy and sharp. Now imagine pushing this button for any time, and you have to really push it hard for this blender to work, and push it for quite long, because the blender is weak, and you will really need a lot of time to get results. And all this time this pointy bump cuts into your finger! it is torture! I got this blender as a gift, or I would send it back. Also, you cannot remove the moving part to wash it, so you have to balance the whole thing while washing, so it will not fall in the water and be ruined.
Customer Review: Use it for protein shakes Summary: 5 StarsMy protein shake recipe:
2 scoops Optimum Nutrition chocolate protein isolate
2 cups Silk soy milk
1 Tbsp Peter Pan peanut butter
15 grams walnuts
1 Banana
1/2 cup plain oatmeal
1-2 ice cubes
Why did I list my recipe? Because it grinds all that into a smooth, chocolatey heaven 2-3 times per day for me without fail. And cleanup time takes 10 seconds, just wash under the faucet. The price is unbelievable and the quality amazes me.
