Bought this opener because I was tired of trying to open tall cans with an average size electric opener.Not only does it open cans that are taller, but it does it with ease. Locks on can top, stays on through entire cycle. My last opener would often get half way through the can and miss spot before juming off track. Not this one! I am very pleased.
Description of Proctor-Silex 75217 Power Opener Extra Tall Can Opener Black
Model number on packaging may be listed as either 75217R or 75224RY. Product is identical.Tall enough to open a 7-inch-high can, this electric can opener is as practical as it is stylish. It has a knife sharpener in the rear as well as push-in cord storage, allowing for tidiness on the counter. The cutting lever removes for easy cleanup. Clad in gleaming black plastic, the opener measures 8-7/8 inches high, 4-1/4 inches wide at the base, and 3-1/2 inches deep. When operating, a magnet flips down and grips the top of the can, then lifts it off when the can is removed. --Fred Brack
