I see people complaining about this grinder being too small... uh, it's SUPPOSED to be small! That would be like buying an 18-wheeler tractor trailer and cab and then complaining that the truck was too big!!!
Anyway, for a small grinder, this thing is great. I use it not only for coffee, but for flax seeds and just about anything else I need to grind up in small quantities. If you often find yourself wanting to grind a pound of coffee, then *obviously* this is too small for you though.

i didn't know what to expect from at coffee grinder at $9.99. this is my first coffee grinder. i bought it at my local PX, it was the only one they sold so i figured i'd give it a shot.
the reason i bougth a coffee grinder was because i was tired of using the in store grinder. you really have no idea what people put through those things. it sort of gives me skivies. plus i wanted to frind my beans fresh every day.
it's been in use for about a week now its i got it. i have no complaints so far. it does the job. there is only 1 speed. it turns on when you press the button, it turns off when you take your finger off the button. no bells or whistles here. just simple grinding. i use a auto drip coffee machine and grinding the beans for about 45 seconds does the trick. i'm happy with my proctor silex coffee mill

I have been using this coffee mill which belongs to my friend since 2002. I purchased my own just a few days ago. I am very satisfied with it. I use it to grind coffee beens everyday. Each time, it produces wonderful result. Of course, it can not be cleaned with water. Actually, you should not clean it that way. Instead, you can wipe it clean with a dry paper towel. As long as you do not abuse it, it can last a long time. I recommand this machine to everyone who wants a coffee grinder but not too fuss on a superb quality which only a few very expensive models can deliver.Customer Review: Awesome machine

I bought this mill to go along w/ the french press that I bought. I was a little worried at the time that it wouldn't perform because of it's very low price, but I was very pleasantly surprised! It works great, it is compact and I love that the cord wraps up in it. It's a snap to clean. All I do is wipe it out w/ a dry towel. I love this and the press I got so much that I am buying them for my brother as a birthday present!
