I got this food processor in order to make pesto sauce. I'm sure it will work will salsa and bruschetta, as well. It's the perfect size, dishwasher safe (blade, cup, and lid), and it chops very cleanly. It's so easy to use and store since it's so small. For making just a little bit of pesto, maybe just a quarter cup, it would really be annoying to have to take out and clean a larger food processor. But this food chopper is the perfect size for such a small amount...or anything up to 1 cup, 1 1/2 cups really. I'm really glad I bought this...and it was just the right price. No need to get a larger, clumsy, and more expensive larger food processor that won't get used as often.Customer Review: Excellent

It's fast to use. I can chop half an onion (or more if I wanted), which is exactly what I need for one day. I can mix fruits and yogurt for a dessert for me. I used to use it to pure food for my baby.
It's extremely easy to clean. It's like washing a normal glass.
It's a great purchase for its price.

This chopper is great! For most of the stuff I make as a bachelor cooking for 1 person I don't need a monster sized food processor, and this little guy saves a lot of chopping and mincing I used to do with a knife.
You can toss some avacado, red onion, cilantro, salt, and the juice from a lime into it and in like 5 seconds have homemade guacamole to go with some tortilla chips.
Other stuff like pesto or marinara sauce for 1 or 2 people are easy to make with it too.

I needed a food chopper badly, so I'm glad I made this purchase. It does a good job, it's incredibly cheap and the size is indeed very compact. However, I have to say, that even for a one-person household I find it a bit too small.Even an onion has to be chopped in halves, the whole onion would be too much for it. If I was to buy a new one I'd go for a bigger one.
