This electric kettle exceeded my expectations. Lite and efficient. I took it to Morocco and New York. Worked well, however remember when you leave the country you need a power adapter that has a ground plug. Not all of them have that. Was a little apprehensive to purchase because of some reviews with complaints of plastic taste of the water. Received my kettle and boiled water a couple of times and had a little plastic taste still. Solved that problem, however by putting full-strength vinegar to the max line and boiling the vinegar. Poured vinegar out, flushed real well with water. Now, no plastic taste at all!!! I love this kettle. Its fast and seems very durable. Try it.
