This little appliance has changed my life! I've cooked amazing soups, desserts, and stews so far, and I have many more recipes planned. Living alone, the small size is perfect for me. It's easy to use, and there are plenty of healthy recipes available on the web and elsewhere if you do a little research. After you've made a couple of things, you start to understand the best way to adapt regular recipes, too. One indispensible cookbook is Slow Cooking for Yourself by Catherine Atkinson, which consitsts only of recipes of one or two portions. Everything I've tried from it has been outstanding. Everyone who cooks for her/himself should have one of these little guys. Worth every penny!
